Wellness Inside and Out
RSD6 Elementary Wellness
Elementary students, K-6, receive wellness education throughout the year. Students in Warren School, James Morris, and Goshen Center will meet with Mrs. Wright each week for 45 minutes. Healthy habits will be established as students participate in wellness lessons using the gardens, physical activity and mindfulness exercises.
It takes 3 weeks to establish a healthy habit. Find an activity you enjoy and stick with it!
Grow your own garden. Nothing tastes better than veggies picked right from your garden!
Having a friend to exercise with will help keep you motivated and on track.
Eating right and exercising will help your body grow strong and healthy!
Are you ready for the challenge? Time to move with a mission and eat with a passion--all geared toward a healthy lifestyle!
With the success of RSD6's participation in Rod Dixon's KidsMarathon 2012, you'll be sure to need your running shoes again this year!
Understanding the nutritional value of what you put on your plate (and into your belly!) is very important.
Being a person of good character will always put you in the winners' circle!
RSD6 has something to be very proud of...all 3 elementary schools have gardens. Gardens are a tremendous way to educate students about growing vegetables, nutrition and healthy eating!
This LiveBinder is a great Wellness & PE resource full of activities and information.
Harvest Luncheons are held annually at Warren School and James Morris School. Fresh picked and prepare, straight from the garden, vegetables are served with pizza. Many guests come to celebrate the harvest.
